Description

Tea was never meant to be boring and bland. This malty, full-flavoured black tea creates the perfect English Breakfast Tea Experience.

50x 25g Sachets of CLO English Breakfast Loose Leaf - Ideal for 2.2 Litre Brewers

The broken leaf brews a full loose leaf flavour (no more tea dust!) and brews quicker than some of the large leaf teas on the market. We love it!

Our ethically sourced, broken leaf tea is can be brewed in our Plastic-Free tea pyramids or loose leaf. Either way you get to enjoy some of the highest quality teas from Kenya, Sri Lanka (Ceylon) and India (Assam).

40% Kenya East of Rift tea is grown around Mount Kenya. It is from Kinoro tea factory (Meru county, just east of Mt Kenya) which is owned by smallholders and processes leaf on their behalf. This tea is very bright and golden with a biscuity character. Elevation c. 1500m.

40% Ceylon (Sri Lanka) is a high grown tea from Strathspey (BOP grade). It is from the dry weather period and as a result has lovely mellow aromatic notes that help to balance the Assam. It is from the Western (Dimbula) planting areas. Elevation c. 1300m.

20% Assam GFBOP from Dufflaghur estate in Assam. It is in the north bank planting areas (the part of Assam north of the Bhramaputra). It is from the second flush peak quality period and has quite a lot of golden tip. It has rich malty notes with slight caramel tones. Assam is quite a low lying area (55-150m above sea level), low grown teas tend to bring malt and body.

This tea pre portioned for your 2.2 Litre filter machine.

Storage: Dry, and away from strong flavours

Contents of case = 50 x 25g pouches (makes 50 flasks of tea)
