These CLO-branded cups are made of paper - all the way through - yet they can hold your drink for hours on end.
Here's the thing - in the past you can either purchase 'recyclable cups' which are mad eof paper (good) but also have a plastic lining which could in theory get recycled, but if it ends up in landfill it is as bad as any other plastic. OR you could get your hands on 'plants' lining which is commercially compostable - again great, if it ends up in a commercial composting plant, but in the more likely event, it ends up in landfill then it takke a long time to biodegrade. Oh and you can never recycle one of these cups either.
Welcome to CLO cups - these are fully recyclable - they will return to paper pulp - AND they are certified home compostable, so they will compost in regular home composting environments really efficiently.
